The Welfare State improves the well-being, if you’ll excuse the redundancy, of a country, and is therefore a very useful tool. However, in fairness, aid should be for those who cannot fend for themselves\u2014that is, for those who are not in a position to work and generate wealth, whether temporarily or permanently. One thing is the Welfare State for those who truly need it, and another is a system of exploitation in which freeloaders abuse their serfs. <\/p>

Slavery and serfdom were two institutions that existed for thousands of years, until basically in the 18th and 19th centuries, enough people rebelled and fortunately managed to abolish them.<\/p>

Now that they want to reintroduce these institutions, it is time to rise up and eliminate them once again. In the United States, they succeeded. President Lyndon Johnson introduced well-intentioned social programs to eradicate poverty. They were intended to be temporary aid so that those who needed it could escape poverty. In some cases, that was the case, but in others, parasitic people took advantage of them to live without working for the rest of their lives. <\/p>

For example, there were single-parent families where the woman needed that aid when her children were small and she had to care for them. But when they grew up and their mother was in a position to return to her professional life, she preferred not to do so and continued living off the aid. <\/p>

There was an uproar in the country. It was denounced by politicians and the media, who did not mince words when giving details about this phenomenon and even describing typical profiles, such as African-American women with children. <\/p>

There was a strong social and political reaction against this abuse, and both the Republican and Democratic parties opposed it, appealing to the work ethic. In fact, it was abolished by Democrat Bill Clinton. <\/p>

Let us also take the example of Italy, which has ended “handouts” for freeloaders, or Sweden and Denmark, which have drastically reduced aid to parasitic immigrants; all of them have taken forceful measures to avoid this type of immigration. Nordic countries have a very generous welfare system, but it is oriented toward integrating everyone who can work into the labor market as quickly as possible, with not doing so being very poorly regarded by the locals. <\/p>

If we do not end this abuse, we will not only have a growing problem with public finances and more taxes and over-indebtedness to maintain the ever-growing class of abusers, but also a greater sense of injustice and resentment among those who work hard. Is it fair that those who strive daily to earn a living must carry the burden of supporting those who choose a life of leisure at the expense of others? <\/p>

Let us restore the values of decency and honesty in our societies: contribute, yes; parasitize, no; provide, yes; live for free, no; work, yes; take advantage of others, no; generate, yes; steal, no.<\/p>

Generating wealth takes effort, sometimes a lot, involving fatigue (or exhaustion), stress, giving up time to do what we like most and be with our loved ones, etc. Therefore, it is an abuse to steal limited resources from those who have produced them honestly to maintain this new privileged aristocracy that does not want to work. <\/p>

Spartacus rebelled more than 2,000 years ago against slavery. Haitians and Jamaicans did the same more than 200 years ago. French revolutionaries rose up against serfdom. And I rebel against part-time neo-slavery. And I invite all the neo-serfs of the world to also revolt. <\/p>

LET US RISE UP NOW AGAINST PARASITIC SYSTEMS OF EXPLOITATION!<\/p>
