Imagine being kidnapped and forced into a cage where you can’t even move, like the one in the photo, much worse than a prison cell. And several times a day, you are force-fed against your will by having a tube, over 50 cm long and more than 5 cm thick, inserted down your esophagus.
In other words, every day you undergo several endoscopies, but without sedation, without any consideration, and with a tube much thicker than a flexible plastic one, being rigid metal. And to top it all off, through this tube, 12 kilos of corn are forcibly pumped into you daily with a hydraulic pump. What would you think of that?
Well, that’s what they do to over 40 million ducks and geese in France alone, who feel pain, just like us.
