1. In-person classes
In-person classes will be held on the scheduled dates, during which the professor will explain the theoretical content regarding personal well-being. This theory will alternate with practical training, which will consist of performing exercises and case studies using films. Additionally, any student questions will be addressed during these in-person classes.
The methodology of the Basic Course is very straightforward. In contrast, the Postgraduate and especially the Master’s programs go into greater depth, utilizing pedagogical techniques such as: comparing learned information with other sources, providing commentary on videos and articles, discussing or summarizing essential parts of the theoretical content, answering specific questions, providing opinions on certain topics, making deductions from information, seeking solutions to problems, etc.
2. Homework
Class attendance will be supplemented by homework, which basically consists of practicing personal well-being techniques until the required number of practice hours for each course has been completed. In the Basic Course, this practice is very simple, while in the Postgraduate program, and especially in the Master’s program, the number of hours is increased in order to achieve the expected results.
Furthermore, any practical training that is not completed in class will also be carried out at home. Additionally, in the Postgraduate and especially in the Master’s programs, research projects on relevant topics will be conducted both individually and in groups.
3. Examination
When the student considers that they have assimilated the theoretical content, they may (optionally) take an exam to obtain the corresponding qualification (Diploma, Postgraduate Certificate, or Master’s in Personal Well-being). If they do not pass it, they will have another opportunity.
